Jurubaxi's Reserve River

Jurubaxi's Reserve River/AM

The Téa-Jurubaxi Indian land was sanctioned in September 2017 and in August 2018 a selection to choose what company would operate along Jurubaxi´s River was made, since its mouth, at Negro´s River, until the area of Bufuanã´s lake, below of famous Colombiano´s lake. Tapacuá Travel Agency, owner of Kalua and Kalua II boats, was the winner and, since September 2019, the whole river was been EXCLUSIVE area operation for those boats.

As águas normalmente já permitem a pesca esportiva na região a partir do final de agosto até o mês de dezembro, conforme as chuvas.

The operation area comprehends since Panema´s lake (below the second Community) until the end limit of indian land Jurubaxi-Téa – lake Bafuanã, about 270km long, without pressure from other boats across the stretch during fishing.

The exploration of fishing areas is exclusive, with access monitored and supervised 24 hours a day, guaranteeing the best experience in the search for the record by our experienced local guides.

The route of Jurubaxi´s River is excellent for fishing peacock bass and catfishes, like pirararas, piraíbas and surubins.

The boarding in Kalua II occurs from Santa Isabel do Rio Negro city – AM. The package has a total duration of 09 days with 06 effective fishing days.

And it is worth remembering that the region is known worldwide in sport fishing as the holder of the IGFA record for the Açu Peacock Bass (Tucunaré – Açu), weighing over 13 kilos (28,66 Pounds).
